This is part of a series i'm creating where I just make possible trade scenarios for Jaylen Brown, who I predict isn't gonna be a celtic by next season. This might be a bit weird of a trade but I hope you guys like it anyways and feel free to comment your opinions on it.
Boston Celtics
Why:
Jaylen Brown is currently unhappy with his placement on the Celtics, and I think he would be gone by next season. They would for sure want a contending deal for him, and I think this is a pretty good package that could still help them contend for the upcoming years. KAT could be a good big for them, and help them have good scoring for their bigs. I also think he could fit well with RobWIll, so I think he could be a good fit on Boston. O'Neale is also a good role player for the nets and I think he could do well on a team like Boston too
Ideal Starting 5
Smart/Brogdon/Tatum/RobWill/KAT
Ideal Bench
Pritchard/White/O'Neale/Horford/Kornet
Brooklyn Nets
Why:
The Nets could definitely use a center piece guy, and I personally think Jaylen Brown could be that for them considering that the SG spot is kind of an empty spot for them, though they've been playing Mikal SG. It is however a one-year rental for them, but if they succeed in that 1 year, Jaylen could sign back to Brooklyn because they're also a big market team. They also get Danilo Gallinari who's a cool role player guy.
Ideal Starting 5
Dinwiddie/Brown/Bridges/CamJ(rfa)/Claxton
Ideal Bench
Simmons/Harris/Watanabe/Gallo/M. Brown(or fa)
Minnesota Timberwolves
Why:
The Timberwolves seem to play better without KAT due to fit and other reasons. A deal like this is ideal for them since they need some picks and good pieces to start a retool/rebuild. A retool is probably what they'd need because they don't wanna rebuild again especially for how good they're doing this year and for how long they've been bad, so yeah. DFS is a really good guy to probably be their starting SF/PF, and Cam & Day'ron are good young pieces for their future.
Ideal Starting 5
Conley, Ant, DFS, Prince, Gobert
Ideal Bench
Thomas, Nowell, JMac, Anderson, Reid
