This is just my ideas for what the Rockets should/could do this offseason. Please hit me up with comments on any changes you think can be made.

The Rockets have been looking to trade Eric Gordon and Christian Wood away for a while and this is the perfect time to hit the reset button.

Trade 1: Knicks receive: Eric Gordon Rockets receive: Evan Fournier and 1st round pick The Knicks have been eyeing Gordon and have a contract to match salaries in Fournier. Fournier has had a subpar season for the Knicks. The Knicks get off Fournier's 3 year deal for a 2 year deal. Gordon provides solid 3-point shooting for a team that lacks solid perimeter shooting. The Rockets can stash another 1st round pick and can potentially trade Fournier later for more assets if his play improves while on the Rockets.

Trade 2: Wizards receive: Christian Wood Rockets receive: Rui Hachimura, Vernon Carey, Isaiah Todd, 1 1st round pick and 1 2nd round pick. Wood is clearly the best player in this trade so the Wizards would need to provide a good package revolving around a young player and assets for him. The Wizards would solidify their front count with Wood and Porzingis and show Beal that they are trying to build a competent team for Beal. The Rockets get some more young assets and picks to continue rebuilding.

Draft: Pick #1: Chet Holmgren Pick #16: Tyty Washington (or Dyson Daniels if he falls) Assuming the Rockets land the number 1 pick, they should choose Chet. The Rockets now have a gap at Center(unless you thing Sengun is the future) and Chet will fill that perfectly. The Rockets also are lacking depth at the PG position and Washington/Daniels would be a solid player that can potentially complement Jalen Green in the backcourt in the future.

Rockets lineup for next season Starters: KPJ, Jalen Green, Jae'Sean Tate, Rui Hachimura, Chet Holmgren Bench: John Wall, Tyty/Daniels, Josh Christopher, Fournier, Carey Jr, Alpren Sengun, Garrison Matthews
