Before I explain why these teams do this trade, I want to say that I don't think This should happen. As a fan of this site, I love to make up these types of trades that can also be reasoned with. So please, just see this as entertainment, but also a trade that you can see happening if needed.

for Boston: You get a PG who can score, defend, and playmake. Malcolm Brogdon is an above-average player and can give Boston the playmaking they needed. They also get Chris Duarte who is currently on fire from 3, shooting around 42% from 3. He is also a win-now rookie who is 24 years old, so the team won't need to be waiting for him. they also get 3 protected but valuable picks, 1 in 2024, and the other 2 in the near future, and future picks are always valuable. They can use these picks to become flexible and add more depth or just wait on these picks and see where they land.

Overall, I'd predict the lineup to be Malcolm Brogdon, Marcus Smart, Chris Duarte, Jayson Tatum, Robert Williams. Elite Defense from this entire lineup, Great shooting, and now even better playmaking with Brogdon. Their bench would also include Schroeder, Richardson, Pritchard, Horford, etc. which is very versatile.

For Indiana: The Pacers have been stuck in this type of place for years now, always being good to make or be close to the playoffs, but not bad enough to get a good pick. Decent players all around, but not a perennial and versatile scorer and player to elevate them very high. With this trade, you get Jaylen Brown who can be the future superstar of this team alongside Sabonis. The Duo of Sabonis+Brown would be really great for the future and I truly believe that they can contend in the future with them as their top guys. I think they would also become one of the best future duos of the league. I can already imagine the Pacers running cutting screens for Brown while Sabonis makes his beautiful passes to him. Brown can also space the floor and create his own shot for the pacers. He gives them the Extreme scoring that they needed. They also have Levert and Warren who can either be great pieces alongside him, or they can be more flexible and trade them for more flexible pieces. You also have Myles Turner who they can either test out again or trade him as well. Pacers would still have to do work and make trades to complete this team, but if done right, brown+Sabonis can take this team VERY far.

Overall, I'd predict the Lineup to be TJ Mcconnell, Carris Levert, Jaylen Brown, Domantis Sabonis, and Myles Turner. TJ, Brown, and Myles bring great defense. Levert, Brown, and Sabonis bring great Scoring. TJ and Sabonis bring great playmaking. Levert, turner, and Brown bring Good spacing. This is a very balanced lineup and has good potential. Torrey Craig, Lamb, Warren, Goga, Brisset, and Holiday would be their bench. A lot of wings, which this team would have to figure out, but the addition of Brown would make them very elite and set them up in the right direction for the future.
