3 Team Trade
Following the Bucks losing in the 1st round, something may have to switchup for Milwaukee. Only difficulty is they have no assets, and Middleton would have to be on a sign and trade…This trade is my way of the Bucks trading Middleton for strong role players. Given Khris and his injury problems, it wouldn’t surprise me if they traded him. Saying that, it’s an interesting situation, I thought the Bucks team was literally perfect and they got knocked out in the 1st round…
Bucks
The Bucks do have strong depth but this trade would give them an excellent core built around Giannis, Holiday and Lopez. Buddy would thrive in this team starting at the SG or SF, and he would consistently stretch the paint for Giannis to drive. Tyus Jones, such an underrated player imo, would join and provide an excellent back up PG or even potentially play for SG. Finally, Konchar is more of a salary fill but he’s a good shooter so no harm in that.
Memphis
On paper, the Griz are literally in one of the best positions of any team in the league imo. They have all their picks, fantastic depth and genuine stars. The players and their own antics have not helped them out, and realistically they got humbled this year. Middleton would be an amazing fit for Memphis, someone with the defence ability of Brooks (arguably better) but the offensive ability to actually not be a liability on this team. I love the fit, and I couldn’t see a reason the Griz contend when looking at a starting lineup of: Ja, Bane, Khris, JJJ, Adams. Scary core that.
Pacers
The Pacers are in a strong yet interesting position for me. With another top 8 pick coming in this year, they have the decision of how quickly they would like their rebuild do go - do they trade for a star (I think they should go get KAT) or do they be patient. This trade is my idea of them being patient, trading for a really promising PF in Clarke who has showed he’s a great player in Memphis. Zaire Williams as well is a forgotten prospect in so many ways, and maybe Indiana could be the perfect home for him.
