Memphis… they’re just a mess. Ja likes guns, and as much as the media are being pricks and giving him more spotlight than some serious issues, Ja is rightfully getting a ban. HOWEVER, the Griz are actually in a good position with lots of picks and depth at their disposal. This trade is my way of improving the Griz.

Grizzlies

With an already stacked core of Ja, JJJ and Bane, Memphis can use their pieces to give KAT the perfect home. Before the Gobert trade, KAT averaged pretty much 10 rebounds per game, and this compliments JJJ and his lack of rebounding brilliantly, KAT also spreads the floor freeing up more drives to the paint for Ja. In addition, using their mid level, I think the Griz should get Bruce Brown. With him being guaranteed that starting SF spot, he would provide strong defence, ball handling and scoring. Overall, if the Griz actually want to get serious, this is a move they can make.

A small extra was the Pacers trade giving them a new backup PG and Duarte, giving them extra depth where they need it and letting Clarke move on.

Timberwolves

Just let Ant lead the team. By moving on from KAT, and receiving the pieces in this trade, it make Minnesota arguably the deepest team in the league. In addition, the combination of OG, McDaniels and Gobert can create one of the best defensive cores in the league (without even mentioning Ant who is also a really strong defender). This trade also gives Minnesota assets which they can continue to use to develop. Overall, I’d actually really like this team if they did this trade, and I think they’d surprise a lot of teams.

Raptors

Easy explanation, moving on from OG and receiving picks for him. In addition, they get Luke Kennard’s shooting which is exactly what Toronto.

Pacers

Pacers get a starting level PF who can compliment Myles Turner with Clarke providing strong defence and further rebounding to their team
