THIS TRADE IS SUCCESSFUL BUT THE APP DOESN'T SUBTRACT Player options/Team Options and Free agents from the rosters!!!

Both teams are in a tough situation and need to think about how they can upgrade there current roster to move the needle πŸͺ‘

Bulls have a very mid team with not much paint defense, they had gotten gentlemen sweeped last season and missed there opportunity this year from the play in.

Clippers are on there fourth year now in the PG/Kawhi Era and can't seem to keep the team healthy, it's either PG or Kawhi who are always under the bus with an injury report 😬

So why would the Clippers do this trade πŸ€– ?

  • Zach Lavine has been seemingly more available than PG in the last 4 seasons despite having minor injuries himself

  • Lavine this past year next to Demar and Vooch has had more ppg and a better fg and 3%.

  • Lavine has also had more ppg, better a better fg% than PG the last 4 seasons with an identical 3%

  • Lavine is getting paid less and he's only 28 compared to PG being 33 this year... 🫒

  • Clippers also get 2 1st round picks in return which could help there re tooling process or could just simply be much needed future draft capital

If Clippers were to pull the trigger on this deal, they still have Morris and Batum who could play the PF position aside from Kawhi for Covington. And Gordon/Hyland/Mann/Powell who could fill in for PG at the SF spot.

Why would Bulls follow through with this trade? πŸ‚

  • Paul George is still very efficient as is, but they need a playoff performer and he has a much better reputation in the playoffs then Lavine

  • As well as the obvious factor, being defense. PG is the much better defender on both sides of the court. πŸ”’

  • Getting Covington helps a lot as well, he's a league known defender who shoots 40% from the 3!! He'll fill in a much needed role at the forward spot.

This trade works great for both sides, but let me know your thoughts on this deal in the comments down below πŸ’―πŸ—―
