so magic give up of course their young talent (cole is there for salary) but they are getting a solid 6th man and much needed 3pt shooting. They are ranked 30!! in 3pt% this season and are making just 11 threes per game which is 3rd worst in the nba. I think that simons helps them in that part of the game very much and they should’ve done it long time ago

portland are getting young talent and some draft capital that will be probably some 20th something picks but this allows them to build this young core even more and build this team around scoot and probably clingan going forward
