If the Bulls were going to get a first-round pick for LaVine, they probably already would have gotten it. He's a good player averaging 22.1 points and shooting 43.2 percent from deep this season, but his contract and sometimes shaky defense have scared off suitors. This deal gives Chicago a second-round pick, a young wing with plenty of time to develop in Jett Howard and two tradeable contracts (KCP's deal has a $21.6 million player option in 2026-27, while Cole Anthony's has a $13.1 million team option the same season).

Zach LaVine could give the Magic the kind of scoring punch they need (with or without the star forwards), and their abundance of rookie and otherwise affordable contracts makes them a suitor that can probably justify taking on his deal (which has a player option for $49 million in 2026-27). Whenever Banchero and Wagner are back, the 29-year-old can recede into a lesser role, while still helping the Magic pump up their three-point volume and giving those forwards a mor…

76ers would get a very good defensive pf that can also space the floor and play alongside Embiid if they feel uncomfortable in playing martin at 4…

why nets do this?: they get draft capital, 2frp for cam johnson, 2srp, veteran TH jr on his last year so they clear up cap space, young player in gui santos who they can eventually flip in other deal and they are nit giving away any trade calital or nic claxton who in my opinion is untouchable for them

why hornets do this?: they get a really solid young 20ppg player in kuminga who will ask for around $30mill in the ofseason but they can afford it and they are not a big free agency destination so they wont sign a lot of guys. They could have a big 3 of lamelo at pg, miller at sg, and kuminga at sf. That is a really solid trio and they dont even give up much, only their 2027 frp and 2028 srp so for me that is a no brainer

why warriors do this?: the get 3 really good role players and CAM JOHNSON, they get off wiggins bad contract and dont have to pay kuminga $30+ million, they get a starting sf that shoots over 40% from 3 this season, cody martin who is a league average 3pt shooter, bac…

i think this is a win win trade, grizzlies getting really good wing to starting 5 and finally getting marcus smart contract of the books and nets continue to tank and get 2frp for cam johnson, they can flip this 25 frp for someone else or just a pick in 2026 or 28 probably but they are getting young player in laravia and also really nice draft capital…

this is a trade that cavs should’ve done a long time ago as they try to do some final touches to this near perfect team. I hate giving up dean wade but if its for hunter who deffinetly can help you win some games also in the playoffs its a no brainer for cavs. Hawks also dont want to be bad this year as they dont have their 1rd pick thats why they are getting 2 solid role players that dont make them lose more games…

so magic give up of course their young talent (cole is there for salary) but they are getting a solid 6th man and much needed 3pt shooting. They are ranked 30!! in 3pt% this season and are making just 11 threes per game which is 3rd worst in the nba. I think that simons helps them in that part of the game very much and they should’ve done it long time ago

portland are getting young talent and some draft capital that will be probably some 20th something picks but this allows them to build this young core even more and build this team around scoot and probably clingan going forward…

knowing that zion is available for trade, hornets should definetly try to make this team more exciting for lamelo to try to keep him around for a longer period and seeing him and zion playing on the same roster would feed families.

the pels are getting some draft capital for return and a solid 3pt shooter power forward and a solid role player in josh green and i think this is max what they can get for injury prone zion if they are trying to get rid of him…
