The Cleveland Cavaliers are rumored to make changes this upcoming offseason. Imo the guys who get traded are Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. Let Mitchell and Mobley run the show. Here they make a lot of deals

Trade #1: Darius Garland to San Antonio. The Spurs I 💯 expect to have a new starting point guard next offseason. Garland, while did have a down season with injuries, is still really young and is a great shooter and passer. He would really compliment Wemby and this team a lot. Giving up the 8th pick and 2 future FRP’s shouldn’t be a big issue. This team will be contending very soon with Victor.

Garland, Vassell, (Zaccharie Risacher at #4), Sochan, Wemby

For the Cavaliers, Garland and Mitchell don’t seem to be working out. Don will be demanding the Supermax soon, and I think the Cavaliers give it to him. Keldon Johnson, Tre Jones, the 8th pick in this draft, and 2 future FRP’s doesn’t sound like a bad return. This isn’t the only trade they’ll make however.

Trade #2: Jarrett Allen to Memphis. The Grizzlies had a very rough season riddled with injuries. But people forget they were the #2 seed back to back seasons. With that said, their biggest need is at center. Jaren Jackson Jr. could use someone at the 5 to compliment him. Allen could be that and then some. I think this would make Memphis legit contenders for the future. JJJ and Allen is elite defensively, and they have the depth to be legit. They are already rumored to be shopping the 9th pick, so getting Allen would be great.

Ja, Bane, GG, JJJ, Allen. Smart, Konchar, Vince, Aldama off the bench

For the Cavs, they get Clarke, Ziaire, and a future FRP along with #9. I don’t think they’re done there though. Draft picks probably aren’t enticing enough to them. So that’s where they call Chicago and Brooklyn for help.

Trade #3: Tre Jones and 2025 bulls FRP for Alex Caruso. The Cavaliers could really use Caruso in the starting lineup. He’s got good shooting abilities, doesn’t need the ball in his hands, and is arguably the best defensive guard in the nba. Mitchell would be the point. As for Chicago, Caruso is expiring. Getting their own FRP and an expiring contract is a solid return for him. They could make other trades to rebuild or do something else.

Trade #4: Dean Wade, Georges Niang, Ty Jerome, Ziaire Williams, 2024 FRP via Memphis (#9 overall), 2024 FRP via Cavs (#20 overall), 2024 FRP via Hornets (protected), 2026 FRP via Grizzlies for Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson.

The Cavaliers are almost done finishing retooling their team. With that said, their wings aren’t the best. I believe calling the Brooklyn Nets, who are loaded with Wings, would get two players who fit their team perfectly. Bridges and Johnson add shooting and defense to their lineup. Mikal would be a great third option on this team, and Johnson could go back to what he was in Phoenix.

For the Nets, they need to rebuild imo, so trading these guys for 4 FRP’s including a top 10 pick in this draft, sounds like a good idea. Next I would look to trade DFS and Schroeder, and give the keys to Cam Thomas. They don’t have to totally bottom out, and it would be great to make a solid young core.

So after all this, the Cleveland Cavaliers end up with a rotation of: Donovan Mitchell, Alex Caruso, Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Evan Mobley

Caris Levert, Max Strus, Keldon Johnson, Sam Merrill, Brandon Clarke, #8
