Why do the Wizards do this?
The Wizards receive some young pieces and get some picks for longer term contracts (that can be moved later). Johnny Davis was a young player they just drafted and he hasn’t gotten a chance yet. They gain another young guard in Dalen Terry, who could just be a decent 3+D player but also could be more, you never know. This is about getting good young pieces around Kuzma and Beal, and potentially Wemby. I would be looking for a Beal trade ASAP, and I would trade him to the Lakers for Westbrook and the 2 1sts.

Why do the Bulls do this?
The Bulls are outside the play in right now, and are struggling to make it. Their defense is not great on the interior and Vucevic definitely isn’t helping that. Here they acquire and good center in Porzingis who can do the same things as Vucevic offensively with more defensive ability. They also gain a young forward in Todd. They would sign Carmelo Anthony after this deal.

Why do the Raptors do this?
The raptors are struggling a bit, and this move is low risk. At best, Vucevic is a good offensive center who can fit in many lineups for the Raptors.At worst, he’s a backup big who can score and give a big body to the Raptors, and they clear money before having to extend VanVleet and Trent. Vucevic would play about 24 minutes a game and allow for more lineup opportunities for Nick Nurse. He would not be a full time starter.
