Stars find new homes and make GMs happy in the process.
Cleveland's New Starting Lineup
PG: Donovan SG: LaVine SF: Okoro (instead of Strus for defense) PF: Ingram C: Mobley
Bench: Strus, Niang, Dean Wade
Cleveland goes full offense and relies on star power with a big three of Donovan, LaVine, and Ingram to create a potent big three with Okoro and Mobley being defensive anchors. They become quite weak off the bench but they still have money to spend in FA and can bring in a strong FA. They also land an unprotected FRP in the process.
Chicago's New Starting Lineup
PG: Lonzo SG: Coby SF: DeMar PF: Pat Williams C: Vucevic
Bench: Caris, Caruso, Ayo, Zach Collins
Chicago moves on from LaVine and resigns DeMar and Pat Williams in the process. In return they get strong bench pieces in Caris and Collins which make them now have a formidable NBA rotation, which they have been lacking the last couple of years. Depth will really support this team throughout an 82 game season. They also get an unprotected FRP for LaVine, which I think is one of the better offers you will get for him. Chicago doesn't plan on winning it all or even try to, but with this team, they could stay extremely competitive and make the playoffs.
San Antonio's New Starting Lineup
PG: Garland SG: Vassel SF: Keldon PF: Sochan C: Wemby
Bench: Tre, Wesley, Branham, Chamagnie
The Spurs get their PG to pair with Wemby in Garland and they can officially start trying to build a winning team. They have to give up three FRPs in the process but it is worth it as they only give up Collins as well. They still have enough money to sign a max player in FA if they wanted to go after PG13.
New Orleans' New Starting Lineup
PG: CJ SG: Trey SF: Herb PF: Zion C: Allen
Bench: Alvarado, Hawkins, Dyson, Lance
The Pelicans basically swap Ingram for defensive minded Allen and get a FRP. The Pelicans also still have a ton of FA money if they wanted to resign JV or Naji or go after a max player in FA. While it hurts to give up Ingram, they get a win here by shoring up their defense with Allen and saving tons of money.
