Wizards - There’s not much to be excited about in Washington and yes they’re still rebuilding but this move finally gives them a star they’ve been waiting for. A core of Zion, Sarr, Bub, Bilal, Poole, and this years draft choice would create excitement for this teams future and allow them to start to win a little more now. This team would still likely end up in the lottery but this is cheap for Zion. They also don’t give up any valuable first rounders as the 2030 pick from the Warriors may not even convey and becomes a second rounder if it doesn’t. They don’t give up any of their own picks and the only prospect they trade is George who would most likely cap out as a rotation player for the Wizards.

Pelicans - This a chance for New Orleans to finally close the Zion chapter and contend in the West with a new look and hopefully healthy team. Smart and Kispert are immediate contributors that can help them contend in the West. This team becomes one of the deepest teams in the NBA and George is also a nice future prospect to pair with other young players like TM3 and their 2025 lottery choice. The 2030 pick won’t be anything special and may not even convey but if it doesn’t it is a first rounder in the 20s that can really help this team.
