What a ride it’s been to get here I never thought I’d make it here. I first started bc I was bored during school and saw the mock draft on here and started just messing around on that. Never did I think I would make it to this point. The only reason I even made an account was to see what people thought of my first couple trades and boy were they terrible (see Embiid to NY)😂 thank you for all your support shoutout to Kumingathebest, Totems, Lakerviking, Ballin, 49ersforever, Wiltthegoat, DeadPoole, and so many more users that I should thank. Also shoutout to LukaGlazer as my 100th follower!!! Fanspo you’ve been awesome it’s been so fun and now on the road to 150!

Dark horse meaning like teams seeded 4th or lower. Similar to those Miami Heat teams making runs to the finals or the 95 Rockets winning it all…

Hey guys,
As you may have known, I disappeared from Fanspo quite a while ago; let me explain. It’s been a busy couple of months with my high school applications, which has taken up lots of time. On top of that, I still of course had to try hard in school and athletics, leaving no free time. As the applications have now wrapped up, I will be returning to this site and I’ll try to be active daily.
More importantly, I would like to announce that I’ll be bringing back the Pick’Em challenge! Me, KTB, and WarriorCurry30 are all on board to run it back.
All the rules will remain the same; please refer to this post: https://fanspo.com/nba/s/nba_pickem/p/i8h__6RoutG3oI/2024-2025-nba-season-pickem-challenge
Official Rule Page with changes: https://fanspo.com/nba/s/nba_pickem/p/XpSwHkRmTZqXQM/24-25-nba-pickem-challenge-update-2
However, I know many Fanspo users have disappeared, so I will be re-doing signups. As a reminder, we will have a maximum of 50 participants. I don’t expect the signup…

There are three second round picks being sent to the Clippers
Clippers : A
I feel like this is a great deal for the Clippers. Bogdan has less value than Mann but they can rework his value up. His contract is pretty bad but they net 3 second rounders to take him on. If he can find the form he had in the past couple years, he could be a great piece for the Clippers.
Hawks : C-
I don’t really understand this move. This comes on the heels of the Hunter trade so they pretty much move Hunter and Bogdan for Levert, Mann and two pick swaps that may not even have any value. When you put it in that perspective, this move is confusing. Mann doesn’t really help this team that much. He’s a backup guard but he’s only averaging like 7 ppg. He’s a fine defender but this seems pricey to get him and get off Bogdans contract….

The hawks get three second rounders (idk which ones yet) and two future pick swaps.
Cavs : A
I love this deal for Cleveland as they don’t have to worry about the expiring contract of Levert, and they net Hunter for cheap who is averaging 19 ppg. The seconds don’t mean much for Cleveland as they have a ton and they’re contending. The pick swaps may also not be valuable at all as the Cavs hope to contend for the foreseeable future. Hunter also fits the timeline with Mitchell, Allen, Garland, and Mobley. His defensive ability and shooting allow him do slot right into the starting lineup.
Hawks : B
This is a decent deal for Atlanta as they do net a bushel of picks and swaps for Hunter as well as getting Levert. Levert could be part of their future, but if not it’s fine they get him off the books. Still, Hunter was a valuable piece for this team and he also fits the timeline….

Suns : C+
This is a win now move for a team that’s not a win now team. They give up a first rounder for two players not worth a first rounder. However, they do get off of Nurkic’s contract and get a second rounder in return so it’s not bad value. Just not the kind of move that the Suns need to make at this point. If they want to contend, Martin and Micic don’t really move the needle for them.
Hornets : B+
This is a solid move for Charlotte. They net as first rounder and cover their need for a center with Nurkic. They do have to take on his contract but they’ve got plenty of space for now. Martin and Micic also had no future there anyway. The pick isn’t a major upgrade over the second they give up but a first rounder is still a first rounder….

Lakers : B
This an intriguing move for the Lakers. They desperately needed a center and those picks may not be anything special. Still, trading picks 6 years down the road with your second best player being 40 is always gonna be a risk even with Luka. Knecht was also looking like the future 3 and D wing that the Lakers had been searching for. However, adding DFS minimizes the need for him and Mark Williams will be the starting center going forward for years to come as he is only 23. Overall a little expensive but still a good move for the Lakers.
Hornets : B+
I would imagine it must be hard for Hornets fans to trade away a budding young center in Mark Williams but this shows the growth in maturity of this franchise. They’re looking forward to the future now by adding Knecht and a pick and a swap that could be very valuable. This also allows for Knecht to grow with more opportunity in Charlotte. He can provide some excellent floor spacing for franchise cornerstones Brandon Miller and…
