You could pair this move with the move to get Cam Johnson in that allowed this trade to happen by freeing up cap space. Jonas is definitely an upgrade over Saric and isn’t that much more expensive. The Nuggets can still sign a contributor in FA and this is a move in which Denver is really going all in with Jokic. The Nuggets have made shrewd moves this offseason, and I continue to like their moves.

This is a money saving move for Sacramento, and I kinda get it if they’re gonna sign someone in FA, like Jonathan Kuminga. So in the meantime, this grade is mostly unfinished as we don’t know what they’re gonna do with the extra cap space🤷‍♂️
