Heat : A

Last year was probably an outlier for Norman Powell, as I imagine he’ll regress a little bit at least this next year but this is a fleece for Miami. They just gave up salary filler for a guy who was relatively close to making the all star team last year, and slides in perfectly next to Herro in the backcourt. Sure, you could say Anderson is more than filler but he’s still not an important player at all to their team next season. What an absolute steal for Miami.

Clippers : B-

Value wise, this seems like a downgrade especially since Powell was really good last year. However, Powell is getting older and is likely to take a step back, whereas Collins is just entering his prime and could still have more in his game, especially when paired with a pick and roll threat like James Harden. They give up a second so it’s not gonna be higher than this because of the value but I understand the deal and I like Collins here, especially with Zubac as his partner to help his defensive flaws.

Jazz : D

Alright this is all they got for Collins??? I mean, salary filler and ONE second round pick?? This is miserable for the Jazz value wise. Anderson and Love are in now way part of their future and may even just be bought out. The Jazz have made some strange moves especially pairing this with the Sexton deal.
