Bucks cover their glaring gap with Thybulle. They don't need scoring near as much as defense ATM in a league that is increasing the need to cover the perimeter and on ball. Thybulle is arguably one of the best four or five perimeter and off ball defenders with several seasons of the most steals and deflections per minute of any player. He only doesn't get minutes as he isn't an offensive threat, but Bucks have two ball hungry scorers and nobody else is scoring atm anyway, so take the D guys.

They keep a backup centre in an underrated Duop who honestly isn't too similar to the larger contract of Portis and is younger.

The other teams get a pick each but raptors just a second rounder really for players not fitting their timelines and to help make dollars work. Sadly for the bucks taking the actual centre they would want in the trade is $700k too much so can only be improved if found a sub $11mil centre they want more to use than Duop but for now this plugs the most important hole I see for them.
