We know LeBron can work with Steph, so if LeBron isn't around we know statistically Butler is the nearest to him in how he plays where he shoots and how he shares the ball. And he turns up for playoffs just as the Warriors do.
Heat gets a heap of picks and lots of salary fillers for both teams really.
It has to wait for December 15th to be possible but seems fun enough right?…

Bucks cover their glaring gap with Thybulle. They don't need scoring near as much as defense ATM in a league that is increasing the need to cover the perimeter and on ball. Thybulle is arguably one of the best four or five perimeter and off ball defenders with several seasons of the most steals and deflections per minute of any player. He only doesn't get minutes as he isn't an offensive threat, but Bucks have two ball hungry scorers and nobody else is scoring atm anyway, so take the D guys.
They keep a backup centre in an underrated Duop who honestly isn't too similar to the larger contract of Portis and is younger.
The other teams get a pick each but raptors just a second rounder really for players not fitting their timelines and to help make dollars work. Sadly for the bucks taking the actual centre they would want in the trade is $700k too much so can only be improved if found a sub $11mil centre they want more to use than Duop but for now this plugs the most important hole I see…

Magic look good and may wish to shoot higher. Zach for two years offers a good Sg/Sf to assist there.
This one can occur early January and the salary matches etc just have to wait. Bulls take on Issac for contract not actual use really as he is older than their timeline, and they really gain Anthony Black who is going and fits their timeline, as well as picks. Black has the length to fit as a passing power forward that runs which upgrades on PWill to me and fits the running the floor finding passes style the bulls have shifted to.
Magic are in on the weak East so really only need to clear Celtics and Cavs atm and that could be luck this or next year with Zach….

Nuggets overall gain a genuinely good playmaker to cover the off minutes for Jokic who can start at a good levels when needed in Dennis.
Johnson gives a great catch and shoot option for Jokic to feed with dimes.
Have to lose something but they gain two usable players covering needs at the loss of one….

OKC can take a swing. They have about a year before they will need to use their cap differently, which lines up well with when Simmons contract expires. They are not getting any value from Hayward, but the Nets might. They can sugar it up with a pick or something as I do feel that Golden State Warriors and Spurs could actually do well with Simmons fit wise.
OKC gains with Simmons as a playmaker that passes, which they need. He is good at their core drive and kick and back cut passes. He also covers their need for size that can't be a Centre as Chet is set on being the centre. Simmons can play point/power forward and give the size they need there for the teams with more bigger bodies and add to the rebounding they need.
In contrast though Spurs could take that ticket on his playmaking for Wemby if they don't feel they will get a good enough PG in the draft or they wish to build them slower. GSW has spacing and defs also a potential ticket taker to contend with if anyone feels he has e…

We get the reunion in OKC here. Lakers get some cap space to recruit in and maybe an rotation piece or two. Nets Gain a all star calibre player plus Dort who will add a lot to defence. Can add extra picks if you really want to the Nets but I don't think KD is actually worth more but it is viable sure.
Books balance as it does position needs. Main lacking for Nets from the trade is perimetre shooting loss, but they do still have Curry and Mills to kick to. Shai probably has adjusted to having a passing first PG in Giddey to some degree already (yep calling Josh the PG in that OKC team and Shai the SG).
OKC can put Durant in the PF as it is a need (if we put Chet at Centre and honestly I think him at PF is better in some sort of hybrid with JRE as the 'centre').
OKC starting lineup becomes:
1 - Giddey/Westbrook 2 - Westbrook/Giddey 3 - Jdubs 4 - KD 5 - Chet
OKC really loses out a little but they honestly are ok if they get a good draft pick next year for future still with their rema…

Okc a rebuilder.
Trailblazers have a more win now team aging.
Have heard the idea of them trading for a similar need let’s say. Pistons Jeremy grant is the one have heard
Dort is better In my view and Okc could make use of the draft pick. Dort I love but longer term isn’t likely to fit the teams million draft picks and prospects as much for his potential and his contract may eat too much space in the future for what they will need open for that future growth of a smaller market team.
So dort gives a win now solid player that is better right now than the players you’d likely get at 7 for the next season or two.
Both teams may get their needs. But happy if dort stays at okc as a okc fan who likes dort…

Dort may not be a foundation piece for the team, but he is the best value. If that contract is going to go to high then I guess long term unlikely to keep him so may as well get some value out of him.
Maybe it would take the 12th pick, instead which might not be worth the difference on who they can get that suits the team (given that most of what is between 4th and 12 is going to be positions they need less unless something like Sochan falls elsewhere and if that is OKC's target.
Love Dort, don't want him gone, but if they can get that rebuild going sooner with a team that could use the muscle to shoot now for sure do it.
Would the Kings take it? Probably not. OKC doesn't have players for the now worth enough to lose the 4th pick outside the two they wouldn't want to lose (SGA and Giddey)….

Lakers and Nets seem to both like biting off problems. Lebron has seemed to like Simmonds and can't fit with his team.
Kyrie wants a team that lets him control (Lebron does too) and both these teams have front offices that are like that.
Kyrie needs a change of pace, and this is somewhere that he could actually be dealt. Kyrie probs wouldn't be happy at his landing point, but hey maybe flattered at a flat like trade for Lebron when he is a ball of problems.
Lakers probably wouldn't bite for Kyrie unless Lebron was forcing out so unlikely to happen….
