We get the reunion in OKC here. Lakers get some cap space to recruit in and maybe an rotation piece or two. Nets Gain a all star calibre player plus Dort who will add a lot to defence. Can add extra picks if you really want to the Nets but I don't think KD is actually worth more but it is viable sure.
Books balance as it does position needs. Main lacking for Nets from the trade is perimetre shooting loss, but they do still have Curry and Mills to kick to. Shai probably has adjusted to having a passing first PG in Giddey to some degree already (yep calling Josh the PG in that OKC team and Shai the SG).
OKC can put Durant in the PF as it is a need (if we put Chet at Centre and honestly I think him at PF is better in some sort of hybrid with JRE as the 'centre').
OKC starting lineup becomes:
1 - Giddey/Westbrook 2 - Westbrook/Giddey 3 - Jdubs 4 - KD 5 - Chet
OKC really loses out a little but they honestly are ok if they get a good draft pick next year for future still with their remaining emerging talents on roster. But it is a great storyline position here. Better yet if they trade then for Adams (I will just assume Harden is a no go and not worth nor possible cap space)
Nets become:
1 - Irving - with Mills as backup 2 - SGA (sadly both like driving into the net so hmm but eh) with Curry as backup 3 - Joe Harris/Cam Thomas/Simmons 4 - Simmons/Griffin - 5 - Claxton
Lakers gain cap space to sign someone
1 - Collin Sexton (signed with the fresh cap space) / Mann 2 - Bradley 3 - Monk 4 - Lebron (if you ask why not a true point guard he is basically the Point Forward let's be real he just does it from a different angle) 5 - Davis
Boom every team gains something and we have Durant and Westbrook storyline in OKC once more.
