Clippers now have a very solid backup who can play both the 5 and the 4, replacing mo bamba entirely and adding some championship pedigree to the squad. (They most likely, if they wanted to, would be able to resign him for a fairly affordable deal if he performs to their standards considering his age.)

Raptors get two late future seconds and PJ Tucker who most likely will accept his player option unless he goes into retirement, and although that leaves the raptors with more salary taken then given up, they still get assets for an expiring contract like the fans want so badly. (Plus, you could always use Tucker's salary for a trade next season!)
