I was forced to make a trade between the wizards, hawks, nuggets and the magic.

BEFORE READING THE TRADE FINANCIALS, PLEASE CONSIDER THAT EVERY TEAM REMAINS WHERE THEY WERE PRE-TRADE (whether that be under the tax or within the first apron)

Wizards receive a plethora of prospects with some draft capital. Hawks benefit as a facilitator for the trade. Nuggets receive upgrades to their depth without having to make a major roster change (i.e. trading a bigger contract like MPJ or Murray). Magic get an actual point guard who expires at the end of the year.

FIRST PART OF TRADE:

Nnaji, Saric, Holmes, 2031 Round 1 Lottery Prot. in exchange for Valancunias and Bey

Yes, I agree, a lottery protected first for just valancunias and bey is an overpay, however, you have to consider the fact that denver is also getting rid of Nnaji's contract, giving them significantly more flexibility on the market. They also can always just trade Bey later if they aren't pleased with his rate of recovery. Wizar…

The ultimate super deadline dealings!

TRADE ONE: PJ Tucker, 2030 UTA swap rights second, 2031 second in exchange for Chris Boucher

One of my more well-received trades (a former post)! See the explanation there!

TRADE TWO: Jeff Green, 2026 LAC/BOS/IND/MIA second, 2027 MEM second in exchange for Davion Mitchell

Rockets move off of Unc Green (yes, i'm sorry rockets fans) in exchange for a temporary backup point guard who can add to the rockets amazing defense and some second round picks! I chose to give the raptors the 2027 MEM unprotected instead of one of the worse ones because the 2026 second isn't great and the rockets have a ton of capital in 2027.

TRADE THREE: Gary Payton II, Lindy Waters III, 2025 MIA second, 2030 second in exchange for Kelly Olynyk

(This is for you kickasspro1)

Warriors are shopping for a center - scouts, executives and media have made that clear - and vucevic's asking price may be "too high" (Anthony Slater, The Athletic), so why not get a veteran center w…

No team in the league is going to be thrilled to acquire a 45 million dollar contract for a player that doesn't meet that level of productivity, however, lavine is playing well enough that some suitors with the space to get him are most likely testing the waters - and I doubt there is a better fit for him anywhere else outside of Detroit. Let me explain the genius of this trade if the pistons FO were to execute it, and why it's fair value for chicago.

First, i'll go over how this trade works. You're getting rid of your starting shooting guard who's on a one-year deal, an underperforming bench piece on a two-year and a promising prospect ready for extension in exchange for 45 million dollar zach lavine and torrey craig to temporarily fill the hole left by fontecchio.

Outside of the great fit zach lavine would have next to cade as a scorer, the true genius of this trade lies in the salary management. Even after acquiring Zach, the pistons would be only $171,000 above their cap space (p…

Clippers now have a very solid backup who can play both the 5 and the 4, replacing mo bamba entirely and adding some championship pedigree to the squad. (They most likely, if they wanted to, would be able to resign him for a fairly affordable deal if he performs to their standards considering his age.)

Raptors get two late future seconds and PJ Tucker who most likely will accept his player option unless he goes into retirement, and although that leaves the raptors with more salary taken then given up, they still get assets for an expiring contract like the fans want so badly. (Plus, you could always use Tucker's salary for a trade next season!)…

WHY THE HAWKS DO THIS: Hawks are currently the 19th best offense in the league according to offensive rating and the 18th best defense in the league according to defensive rating, both below average (rank 15), however, they are the 7th seed in the east. They get rid of the expiring contract of clint capela who was just benched for Okongwu and Larry Nance Jr for a talented scorer to fill the holes of bogdanovic and daniels' perimeter scoring, and a super underrated defensive center, both on 3 year deals, which you could move off of in the future (you probably will due to Johnson's extension and Daniels most likely getting an extreme extension in the future), in exchange for a SAC 1st protected 1-12 which will end up being most likely a late first, a lottery protected lakers 2025 pick which will most likely end up being out of the lottery considering lakers are the five seed in the west, and some mediocre second round picks. Also, while Johnson (Cameron) isn't the best defender, the hawk…

A somewhat out-of-the-box bench upgrade!

Why the clippers do this: Tre jones and charles bassey are better to have off your bench than KPJ and Bamba, and you get rid of PJ Tucker's contract. This trade "should" help the clippers' offense, as they are 22nd in the league in ORTG.

Why the spurs do this: You get a young underused prospect in bones hyland who you can develop with stephon castle (even if he is on the older side to use as a prospect). Although P.J. has a team option he most likely will accept, you will get veteran presence and a contract to use in future trades with a first that probably will not be good, but is still a first round pick in an extremely deep draft….

Your first thought when seeing this is probably, "Why does this guy have gui santos going out to washington for golden state's second back and a terrible second?" By trading gui santos, warriors stay below the second apron (currently around $330,000 under pre trade) and they get their own second back to potentially use during the offseason or to take a shot at drafting a diamond in the rough.

Bulls get three expiring contracts, one of them being Kevon Looney who they could try and resign or let expire, and GSW's first-rounder top 10 protected, giving them either a mid-late first if the warriors perform well post-trade or 2 seconds in the future.

Warriors get an extremely talented (albeit old) center averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds on 55/41/81 on 32 minutes with some minor draft capital.

Wizards exchange some of their more mediocre draft capital for a cheap prospect who they can develop….

First off, hi fanspo! Saw this site from an old kenny beecham video and checked it out, seems pretty cool!

In this trade scenario, the suns are committed to restructuring/blowing up their roster. The suns get rid of an expiring yet high value (in terms of his contract) point guard in exchange for a young magic project player who they can try to develop with a low value second round pick. My only major concern with this trade would be the lack of size off the bench for orlando, but that could be fixed with a second trade involving cole anthony which I don't have the time for at the moment.

Potential ORL Lineup (Healthy):

Suggs, Caldwell-Pope, Wagner, Banchero, Bitdaze

Jones, Anthony/Black, Harris, Isaac, WCJ…
