So the original deal Bill Simmons drew up basically didn’t include PHX. I added them to the deal because Brogdon and Nurkic for Ayton just makes a ton of sense. Now, I discovered that it was a little more complex because Brogdon and Nurkic are just slightly more expensive than Ayton’s contract which voids a straight up deal because PHX has no cap flexibility whatsoever. By adding Cam Payne (an expiring contract) to the deal and throwing in Christopher to PHX, it balances out the whole thing nicely.

Now, the Bazley and Christopher situations make the deal tricky but I don’t see why they wouldn’t take the deal.

P.S. Remember this was originally Bill Simmons’ deal so if your issue is with the C’s, Rockets, or Portland then take it up with him cause I simply added Ayton to the equation.
