Suns:
they blow up the KD/Book duo and get a lot of assets in return
the player material received in the trade is good enough to keep them afloat for one season to block Washington’s pick swap —> even if the Wizards over perform the suns have the rights to their pick from 11-30
Phoenix clears their books with an exception for Jalen Green after 26-27 (Randle, Beal, Brooks all gone) —> they have a lot of cap space in a stacked FA class in 20287 —> Phoenix holds the right to two very valuable FRP in 2027 (own, either HOU/BKN)
Wolves:
They’ve been linked to KD for a while now and get him for the KAT package and their 31’ FRP (Dillingham)
Naz needs to decline his PO for the trade but that’s something he’s doing regardless —> he can still resign for a bigger contract
They still have pick #31 to shop around for a Conley upgrade
Rockets:
After years of rumors and a Jalen Green disaster class in the playoffs they finally go after Book and reunite him with Mikal Bridges
they decline FVVs PO and resign him and Adams to team friendly deals
Pretty simple adjustment that brings them a lot closer to OKC
Knicks
the first step into contention is to replace Thibs with a modern coach (Malone/Spolstra)
The team is very talented but in the same time misses a lot of things to be able to compete with Boston or OKC
This trade immediately solves playmaking, shooting and wing depth for them while also opening up the tax MLE to improve team depth
the goal of this years draft is to add nba ready talent —> I’d like to see them draft someone like Lendeborg at #29 because he compliments the current front court so well
Vet depth is very important and something this years team lacks —> the additions of Horford (tax MLE), Wright and maybe Batum help this teams depth a lot
Depth: PG: JB, Dillingham, Wright SG: Donte, Brea (#49) SF: OG, Hart, Whitmore PF: KAT, Yaxel C: Mitch, Horford, Hukporti
