Nets get absolutely fleeced, but to be fair there aren't many fair trades for KD. While a lot of teams would have interest in KD, not many would be able to put a package together that would actually work. KD would need to go to a contender, and most do not have large contracts they are willing or able to move. Here the Nets would get Keon, Ant, and 2 firsts while taking on Bledsoe and Winslow's expiring contracts as salary fillers. The Nets would then restart with Ant and Simmons along with their odd combination of other teams draft picks/pick swaps and tradable vets.

Blazers its a no brainer, move Hart to the starting SG, keep Sharpe, and finally get Dame the superstar teammate he has been looking for. Future picks don't mean much to a contending team, especially with KD being under contract through the 2026 season. In 2027 Dame and KD will be 36 and 38, so that pick will have potential to be very valuable for the Nets. Use the MLE to sign a back-up center like Boucher and use the bi-annual to sign a veteran bench PG, you become the likely front runners to come out of the West.
