Nets can use the #4 and #23 picks along with Simons and Little to immediately build a strong young core, while also acquiring a future 2026 first from the Blazers to add to their asset pool. Getting their 2024 pick back allows them to take a year to tank and let their young guys develop, while trading away their veterans frees salary and minutes for their young guys. They would cut CP3, freeing up an additional $15 mil ($25 mil total on the trade) allowing him to sign with a contender for a more reasonable contract.

Rockets move up from #4 to #3, allowing them to draft Scoot or Miller, giving up the Nets pick next year in order to do so.

Blazers move a lot of assets but walk away with Ayton and Bridges, giving them a starting line-up of: Dame, Sharpe, Bridges, Grant, and Ayton. Blazers would need to make their 2024 pick owed to Chicago unprotected in order to move their 2026 pick, however both would be worth it in order to put a contending team around Dame.

Celtics: Brown and Pritchard --> Simons, Isaac, pick #6, and 2027 POR 1st (unprotected)

Magic: Harris, Isaac, pick #6, and pick #11 --> Nurkic, Knox, and pick #3

Bulls: POR 2024 1st (lottery protected) --> pick #23 and 2024 2nd rounder

Hawks: Capella --> Harris, Little, and pick #11

Blazers: Simons, Nurkic, Little, Knox, pick #3, pick #23, and 2027 1st --> Brown, Pritchard, and Capella

Blazers fill all the holes in their roster, getting a POA defender and all-star SF in Jaylen Brown, while getting more athletic at the C position with Capella. We use pick #23 in order to acquire our 2024 first to free up our future picks, then using our 2027 pick to incentivize the trade. We will still have our 2025 first and a $8.3 mil trade exception to make a move at the deadline. Pritchard and Thybulle as our bench guard duo would compliment each other really well, as Pritchard is an undersized scoring guard paired with one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. We would use our MLE to …

There are minimal young players on the Nets roster so we are mainly getting their picks. A Claxton for Nurkic swap would be necessary due to us taking on the terrible contract of Simmons, the Nets would need to take back Nurkic's bad contract in return. The picks we receive have the real value, #21 and #22 don't have much value, but Philly 2027, and 2029 picks from both Dallas and Phoenix could be extremely valuable. We would cut Patty Mills and trade pick #43 for a future second rounder due to having a full roster.

Blazers Roster:

Starters: PG: Simons, SG: Sharpe, SF: Miller (pick #3), PF: Little, C: Claxton

Bench: PG: pick #21, SG: Thomas, SF: Watford, PF: Simmons, C: Sharpe

Reserves: PG: pick #23, SG: Keon, SF: Knox, PF: Walker, C: pick #22

Nets Roster:

Starters: PG: Dame, SG: Bridges, SF: DFS, PF: Johnson, C: Nurkic

Bench: PG: Dinwiddie, SG: Sumner, SF: Harris, PF: O'Neale, C: MLE…

The Raptors move Siakam's expiring contract and get back a great return in Simons, Little, and pick #3. The Blazers package is probably more valuable than Siakam, so they exchange pick #13 for pick #23.

The Pacers get a solid return for Turner, getting a negative asset in Nurkic but acquiring a strong draft pick in pick #13, along with a future pick from the Blazers to add to their assets.

The Blazers get an elite starting 5 of: PG: Dame, SG: Sharpe, SF: Grant, PF: Siakam, C: Turner…

The Grizzlies are right in the mix of a championship and being serious contenders for the next 5 years, but they need to take advantage of the expiring contracts in Green and Brooks. DeMar would give them a seasoned vet at the SF position to help them come play-off time. Aldama and Zaire would be missed, but they would still have the best depth in the NBA. They give up 3 firsts because to be real all of those picks have minimum value because they are all going to be in the 20's. Drummond would also fill out a back-up C role that would help provide a Steven Adams like presence from a rebounding perspective for the bench unit. Overall I think this would put them amongst the elite contenders for at least the next 2 seasons.

Starters: PG: Ja, SG: Bane, SF: DeMar, PF: JJJ, C: Adams

Bench: PG: Tyus, SG: Konchar, SF: Roddy, PF: Clarke, C: Drummond…

Spurs:

Jakob is on an expiring deal and will likely leave in the off-season. Securing expiring mid level contracts in addition to a future first would be a huge return for the Spurs (even if the pick will be in the 20's)

Raptors:

They appear to be in no rush to trade OG, but they do need a center, and getting Jakob back would greatly help them. They also get Josh Hart to fill in OG's role to some extent, and the better end of a pick swap with Portland next year to sweeten the deal, since both the player they get back are expiring.

Jazz:

This is largely contingent on how they view Vanderbilts role in the future, but a return of 2 young players and a swap option that makes that 2025 MIN pick even more valuable, may make it worth their time….

If the 2023 pick swap doesn't convey, it will become a 2025 pick swap (once again with the Timberwolves pick). If the 2025 pick swap does not convey, it becomes the 2025 Portland 2nd round pick (from the Kings)…

Lakers:

Starters: PG: Dunn, SG: Beasley, SF: LeBron, PF: AD, C: Bryant

Bench: PG: Pat Bev, SG: Clarkson/Walker, SF: Fournier, PF: Gay, C: Jones

Knicks:

Starters: PG: Brunson, SG: Mitchell, SF: RJ, PF: Randle, C: Robinson

Bench: PG: Rose, SG: IQ, SF: Melo (FA), PF: Samanic, C: Hartenstein/Sims

Jazz:

8 firsts including the 2027 and 2029 Lakers firsts while also getting significantly worse. Their young core will have no expectations of winning, and the only veterans left to be moved will be Bogdan and Conley. They will cut Westbrook and maybe Bogdan as well if they can't find a trade for him. Conley alone will not win a team many games, however he will provide a positive locker room presence, then Conley can be cut the next season when his money is partially guaranteed….

The Jazz load up with 8 future firsts. With the protections on the Wizards and Pistons pick, both will likely end up conveying in the 2025 off-season. That means the Jazz will have 6 1st in 2023, 6 1st in 2025, and 3 1sts in 2027. 2024 and 2025 the Jazz pick is top 10 protected, so they will hopefully keep it.

2023 they will obviously be bad, with a team that is half rookies, same as 2024 when they still likely won't be a play-off team. 2025 will be the turning point, especially with that fact that if they end up being good they will still end up with 5 firsts in the off-season….

Lakers: Westbrook, THT, 2026 1st, and 2027 swap --> Conley, Fournier, and Clarkson

The Lakers get a crazy return for Westbrook, giving up THT and a 1st in the process. I don't think there is much question they would do this, they would get 2 of their starters in Fournier and Conley and their 6th man in Clarkson.

Jazz: Mitchell --> Toppin, IQ, Grimes, THT, (Westbrook), 6 firsts, and 1 swap

The Jazz will end up with up to 7 1sts in the next upcoming draft, with the only pick I really don't see conveying being the Pistons and maybe the Hornets pick. Westbrook will be cut, and they will be left with getting a package of 6 firsts and 4 young players. The Jazz don't want Conley anymore, so it is essentially a first, a swap, and THT for Clarkson and exchanging contracts the other team doesn't want.

Knicks: Fournier, IQ, Grimes, Toppin, and 5 firsts --> Mitchell

I think this is an ideal package for the Knicks, they get off Fournier's contract and only have to give up one of their own pick…

Blazers: Hart, Little, Keon, 2025 1st, 2027 1st, and 2 2nds --> Bridges and Craig

Blazers get the starting SF they need on a 4 year contract, giving up a massive haul, but putting them into potential contention.

Pacers: Turner, McConnell, and 2023 CLE 1st --> Ayton (S&T), Bledsoe, and 2 2nds

Pacers get an ideal center to pair with Halliburton and Mathurin, giving up players in Turner and McConnell that they are likely shopping anyways, along with a Cavs 1st that will likely be out of the lottery.

Lakers: Westbrook, THT, and 2027 1st --> Kyrie and Harris

No need to explain anything, would be an insane pickup for them.

Suns: Ayton, Bridges, Johnson, Craig, 2023 1st, 2025 1st, 2027 1st, and 2029 1st --> KD

Giving up a massive haul in exchange for KD. Bridges and Ayton are clearly not that appealing to them and that makes sense to me. If they are setting up a team with Simmons it doesn't help getting an elite center that can't shoot on a max contract. Bridges is obviously an elite d…

Blazers: Hart, Nas, Keon, Didi, 2024 ATL 2nd, 2025 1st, and 2027 1st --> Bridges and Craig

The Blazers get their starting SF of the future, trading away significant assets to the Nets and using their $6.5 mil trade exception to acquire Craig as well. Bledsoe will need to be cut for $3.9 mil and stretched across 3 years to make it $1.3 mil per year, and the Blazers would need to make their 2023 pick owned by Chicago unprotected to have access to their 2025 first. Didi is traded along with a second to the Pacers in order to obtain enough cap space to get the deal done.

Pacers: Turner and 2023 CLE 1st --> Ayton, Didi, and 2024 ATL 2nd

Pacers are committing to their young core officially after moving Brogdon, and it appears Turner is the next piece to go. Using your cap space while getting a great center to pair with Halliburton is a big win for this Pacers team.

Suns: Bridges, Ayton, Craig, Johnson, 2023 1st, 2025 1st, 2027 1st, and 2029 1st --> KD

When viewed in its entirety this is…

Trade:

2024 ATL 2nd --> Thybulle

With Harden restructuring his contract, they will be tiptoeing the line to actually use the full MLE. This trade has been talked about a lot, as the Blazers can clear that cap instantly with a trade exception. This gets the Blazers a point of defense perimeter stopper they need.

Free Agency:

Drop Bledsoe and pay his $3.9 mil guaranteed (shown with Chris Duarte)

Re-sign Nurk and Ant

Sign Jalen Smith to the full MLE for 4 years

Explanation:

Jalen Smith is the perfect player for the Blazers right now, he is an athletic floor spacing big with great length and instincts on defense. At 6'10" he can still hang with players on the perimeter, and his 7'2" wingspan allowed him to average 1 block per game in the 22 games he played with the Pacers. He is also only 22 years old, putting him in the same timeline as Nas, Ant, and Sharpe.

Their total salary will be sitting at about 154.5, which is notably below the new tax apron of $156.9, which they must rema…
