This is my opinion on what I think the Orlando Magic should do this offseason. Please comment if you feel like there is anything that should be changed.

Trade 1: Sixers Receive: Terrance Ross Magic Receive: Danny Green and a 1st Round Pick

While T-Ross struggled this season, I still think his value is high as an alternate ballhandler/playmaker. I will put the blame on the fact that he played on a bad roster for his poor stats this season. Ross has been in trade rumors since the 2020-2021 season. With the way things are turning out in Orlando, he has openly said that he is willing to be traded. Danny Green isn't getting younger. and is on an expiring deal. Philly also lacks bench playmaking, Maxey and Harden being the main playmakers on the team. The team is also set up to have plenty of shooters. The main issue would be the Sixers missing Green's perimeter defense, but Ross' defense is not a liability. The sixers will have to throw in some draft compensation for the trade but overall, this should benefit both sides. Sixers get more playmaking off the bench and the Magic get a draft pick.

Trade 2: Thunder Receive: Jonathan Isaac Magic Receive: Derrick Favors and a 1st Round Pick

Isaac has had consistent injury problems since 2020 and has kept him off the court for this past season. The Thunder are taking a risk trading for him, but the pick should not be a lottery pick given that it is from Denver. The Magic are looking at the situation thinking that Isaac is taking up cap space and will not be available often with his injury history and are trying to recoup some cap space and assets for him. This will also make room for their upcoming draft pick as well.

Draft Pick #2: Paolo Banchero Pick #35: Caleb Houstan

With the trades earlier, the Magic now lack depth at the forward positions. They select Paolo to fill Isaac's minutes and Houstan for wing depth behind Franz Wagner.

Roster Starters: Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter Jr. Bench: Jalen Suggs, Gary Harris, RJ Hampton, Caleb Houstan, Danny Green, Derrick Favors, Mo Bamba
