The Pistons put the finishing touches on their new young core. Smith has work to do on defense, but is a potential dynamic complementary scorer on the other end of the floor who would round out Detroit's lineup well. All it costs them is Killian Hayes who they have been shopping anyways and a future second round pick.

There is not much going on for Boston or Indiana here. The Celtics give up young pieces who have little value to them for a small chance to get someone who could potentially fill a significant gap in their lineup. The Pacers swap Smith for young role players and a second round pick.
