Why they do this trade

Jazz:

• sell high on Kessler/Collins, receive valuable picks and build Randles value up

Kings:

• address shooting/size issue with Collins and add a POA defender (Ellis > Vincent but Brown doesn’t trust him)

• Collins contract is shorter and fits their timeline better

Wolves:

• DeMar is on a cheaper contract and better fit for Minnesotas team than Randle —> after Lyles expires they’ll safe ~ 20m in salary on the KAT trade to resign Naz + Naw

• they might use their smaller contracts to go after a better PG than Conley

Lakers:

• Commit to winning a ring in LBJ/ADs final years

• they listen to their stars and put AD back to PF, Ellis SG/SF next to Reaves and PointBron
