Portland don't need to trade Simons (now considered the elder statesman in Portland) who is only 24, and he fits the timeline of the team... but he could also fetch a nice return for a team that's not going anywhere far soon. Brunson and Simon's back court would be nice to see, Knicks cash a handful of frp's and an expiring bench warmer.
