Now, yes, Middleton has been very injury prone throughout these last 3 years, and he's been slowly declining in scoring because of these injuries (going from 20.1 points in 21/22 to just 15.1 pts in 22/23 and 23/24), but a change of scenery can help get his scoring and confidence back, if he stays healthy, and can also help the young Grizzlies with his leadership, defense, and clutch 4th quarter play.

Smart also hasn't been doing great in terms of health, but the former DPOY winner can help the Bucks a lot defensively, which has been their main struggle all season.
