Why Toronto Does This:
Toronto is a rebuilding team, however Jak has been really good. He's playing the best basketball of his life at the moment and could really help out a contending team. They lose Mitchell, whos been good this year, however they get back Cole Anthony and Mo Wagner. Mo could be their starting center and Cole could thrive in a 6th man role as we saw a season back.
In addition they get a second round pick
Why Orlando Does This:
Now Orlando have been really unlucky with the 2 major injuries they've sustained, but when healthy if you add a great scorer to that lineup they're serious. Now the main concern with Beal is his contract, however you are getting the last productive years of Beal, and then your younger guys such as AB or whoever you draft this year are ready to take that spot
Now you lose some depth pieces, but your depth is already solid, and you also get 2 srp's in return
Why Phoenix Does This:
Phoenix fans will tell you, Nurkic is not the starting center for this team. They're a below average defence, and Nurkic is a contributing factor to that. So they get Jak, a great defender in the post, and a solid shot blocker. You also get off of Beal's contract. In addition you get KCP, another great defender to add to your lineup
