PHI: sweep by Knicks ends Embid era (can't endlessly eat multiple $50mm contracts) ... adding Ingram enhances a strong scoring and switchable defending perimeter core, and also prevents overpay to retain Oubre/Grimes. Poeltl's contract def isn't great, but he's got legit NBA size/length to be an effective role playing center, considering the perimeter upgrade, and he's low/no drama professional.

TOR: gets frontcourt alpha Embid to anchor, taking some load off Scotty and preventing players like RBarrett from forcing offense (ugly at times). Embid contract is scary, but worth it relative to final years of Poeltl deal and increased defensive options with versatility of Scotty/CMB playing around Embid. Embid grows into Toronto's global culture and loyal fanbase after tough years in PHI (a.k.a. MSG-West).
