Perfect scenario since SGA carries the scoring load which MIA never had. OKC becomes a playoff juggernaut (SGA/JWill/Butler/Chet/IHart) and adds expiring contracts to enable the multiple frp signings in upcoming draft.

MIA gets their picks back from OKC, gets out of luxury tax penalty hell, and gets broad/affordable MIA culture-appropriate talent as to then comfortably offload Rozier….

ORL: Cures some roster glutvand addresses scoring/ball-handling woes … … win win.

PHX: Badly needed padding PG, F/C, and SG role player depth….

BKN: Gets value for a srmi-bounce-back year for Simmons, buys low on a primary scorer Beal for next year to play with 3 new FRP.

PHX: Gets optimal size/faciliattor role player in Simmons, allowing Booker/Durant back to natural 2/3 position … huge for cheap. ZWilliams bench padding….

OKC: win now and clear roster spots (four FRP this summer draft). Refrain from giving 3rd FRP to MIA by taking on $7.4M extra salary save MIA on luxury tax.

MIA: Gets 4 of its own picks (1FRP 3SRP) back from OKC plus an additional FRP. Saves $7.4M on luxury tax (will = multiple on that figure). Dort is Heat-culture type dude. Dieng young will compete for starter at 4. Wiggins affordable rotation guy competes. IMO Miami blew it on the Rozier trade led to this (underperformed as that extra piece they needed to stay in top contention as to avoid this Jimmy nonsense)….

KJohnson salary drops to 17.5 next to years from 19 this year. Barnes/Jones serviceable (MIA will now have stiff comp for starting wing which is a goid thing for practice intensity). Two FRP in 2025 draft plus another FRP and two SRP.

Spurs get rid of some excess contract baggage to comfortably sign two mid-high FRP this summer and negotiate possible extension w/ Jimmy (let him get fully healthy) for heavy push next year with Wemby seemingly turning a corner.

I like an OKC win-now deal better but I don't think MIA wants the longer contracts (Wiggins/Joe/Wallace) with Dort … maybe they can swap Caruso in….

POR: Like Simons/Ingram/Sharpe backcourt. Really haven't seen Thybulle play, speaks for itself. RWilliams buried not essential to rebuild. Ingram (only 26) underrated passer will get Ayton/Clingan the ball … POR should technically move on from Ayton/Grant/Simons (no one proving to be THE guy to actually impact winning) and reset the losing culture. Scoot not that guy mental maturity to build around.

NOP: Retool with capable bodies to pad the depth preparing for Zion departure. Scoot southern-boy, think he'll thrive in NO (city) culture generally, and playing with defensive studs will only help, needs vet/mentorship DeJounte/CJ (if CJ stays … BBoston up'n'coming). Thybulle can be flipped if he doesn't gel in quasi-French NO….

Charlotte realizes LaMelo is hurt often and not built to carry a team. They get long-term pieces and picks to build around Brandon Miller.

GS needs Rui's scoring. Makes Steph's life easier, someone who can actually knock down a jumper. LAL has Knecht now hence jumps at the extra manpower role players….

CLT: sells high on LaMelo to allow flex to build around Brandon Miller as the future-forward prototype 3-d. LaMelo is great, but he's proven to not be durable enough to carry a team, hence better fit alongside established stars/scorers LBJ/AD (CLT is removing financial risk of LaMelo missing more chunks of season from running around like a chicken with head cut off trying to constantly spark CLT offense; Tre Mann is also breaking out on cheap contract as a much more physical/durable pg in the DSmithJr mold). CLT welcomes durability of AReaves and CLT can afford another short-term tryout for DRussell, with Gabe a reliable backup.

LAL: welomed increased backcourt footspeed/production of LaMelo (L.A. native son) not breaking the bank, add salary dump of Gabe, removal of (especially playoff) inconsistency of DRussell/AReaves.

Bottom line: neither LAL or CLT is a championship contender in current form (CLT just got waxed twice by BOS; LAL just lost to DET), hence this shakeup opens new…

With Utah looking sad out of the gate, may as well shed bigger salary for some cheaper try-outs (Bones, Coffee, KBrown) during the tank. LAC needs the extra muscle at the four, Collins will also allow for more minutes for Kawhi back at the 3….

NOP swings for the fences. Gives up FRP in 2025 & 2026 in exchange for SRP in 2025 & 2026 (fine for NOP as those FRP shouldn't be high/lottery and they also stacked roster, don't need big FRP salaries next few years with impending big spend on TMurphIII).

NOP: Gets deep3 ball volume threat ASimons to really open up the floor as well as critical secondary ballhandler/playmaker … … great addition. Ayton (shot 50% from 16ft+ underrated floor-spacing big … can pitentially move out beyond arc) critical to take defensive/rebounding pressure off Zion so he can really go to work on offense. RWilliams experienced/vetted backup (willing to part with semi-project Missi).

PTL: Wanted the extra FRP to take CJ money. Gets Ingram who they can seriously consider extending with no more big contracts besides CJ's dead weight returning (though CJ will be valuable mentor for the struggling Scoot), and PTL will seriously look to move JGrant. Missi solid young center prospect added to Clinga…

*For mid-season trade deadline if teams are underperforming.

NOP: Gets value back for Ingram expiring. Better fit for Wiggins being the 3rd/4th scoring option and another high-level defensive presence. NOP needs a bruiser like Looney who's also highly professional … may help keep Zion in check (weight). Will look to also move CJ after (or part of … give me some ideas for 3-team) this trade.

GSW: Steph needs another player he can count on to get a bucket … Ingram is that dude. And Ingram should flourish with the on point passing of Steph/Draymond to hit him precisely at his spots (that high release is unblockable). Draymond plays more 5. Ingram helps team rebounding and also a underrated and willing passer keeping the offense un-stuck. Also provides breathing room for Podz and Kuminga to keep developing organically this season with heavier primetime minutes (much less need for them to force shots up). Also Ingram expiring gives GSW maximum cap flex coming into summer, g…

With Bridges back in CLT, GWilliams is expendable hence swap for PJTucker wirh each player better chance of contributing on new team. CLT asks for Coffee for a bigger 2-guard in exchange for Jefferies (or pick the worst of the glut of the ~$2mm/per 3-yr contract shooting guards) and possibly 2RP(s).

CLT does the deal to get off two 3-yr contract players for two expiring deals, giving added potential cap-flex next summer and addressing the glut of perimeter guards. With DJJ in and TMann extension, Coffee looks the odd man out for LAC, however he started numerous games during Kawhi/PG injury era, hence his experience could help CLT immediately. PJ good dirty-work guy for the young team observe his work habits.

LAC does the deal as PJ is away from the team hence they need a return on his contract value. GWilliams is a vocal team defender and capable 3pt shooting backup 4 LAC can use….

Ainge is gonna want potentially a FRP for this. Worth a 2030 frp from Denver? Can flip JCollins expiring next year if DHolmes returns healthy.

DEN: Murray max is signed, hencw MPJ gotta go. JCollins is frontcourt swiss-army knife (can play 3/4/5) they need along woth Kessler to help reduce Joker/Gordon regular season minutes (especially with frp DHolmes season-ending injury). Clarkson proven offensive sparkplug needed as team at times struggled to score with Murray on the bench. Three critical depth pieces lessens regular season pressure on young PWatson and Braun as well (with Russ signing) helping preserve JMurray. Can see DEN resting Joker/Murray/Gordon on some back-to-backs this year after (Joker/Murray) the longer Olympic summer.

UTA: gets longterm foundational piece MPJ to fit the elite size/length/shooting core of 1 in Markaanen. Nnaji is solid backup development piece behind Markaanen. Glad to get off JCollins/Clarkson who did not have terribly active trade market…

Highly doubt it but I actually like the trade.

UTA: CJ/BI locked at 2/3 flush out the Utah positional-redundancy issue; they'll subsequently get up a ton of shots along with Markaanen to maintain value into off-season draft. Danny can load management his way into preserving the cellar … this year will be a year to lay some concrete see how well it sets. Clarkson/Collins didn't have much of a market, but nonetheless they'd want to keep BI in this scenario, so there us a gamble here … BI likely glad to get out of Zion drama environment, will get a lot of shots up and better looks with the less-continuously-clogged paint.

NOP: Sexton another defensive dawg great fit can play either 1/2, Clarkson pure backup scorer at 2, JCollins can play 3/4/5, WKessler backup 5. This team just got deep, and getting off CJ's overpay and the uncertainty around Ingram contract further stabilizes the lockerroom/roster….

Win-win.

TMann gets a chance to get paid in Utah at like 4yr/68mm (DJJ/Batum/KDunn made him expendable … reminds me awful contract Clips gave Kennard 5/56 … TMann def the more valuable 2-way player). LAC gets desperately needed frontcourt depth JCollins allowing Kawhi more flexibility at either 3/4.

Should be a no-brainer for Ainge to scoop up high moral/ethics guy TMann … two SRP nothing to gain cap flex of getting off Collins and PJ/Bones expiring, also keeps the 2025 tank in check by gutting his frontcourt….

CLE gets a cheaper better defensive fit Sexton next to offensive ball-dominant DMitchell, adds bonafide backup scorer JClarkson alongside LaVert to bolster perimeter scoring when Mitchell sits. Okoro signs qualifying offer for half what they were paying Strus DING DING. JCollins massive upgrade frontcourt flexibility (can shoot threes and play big-ball 3 as well allow DMitchell really focus energy on offensive production). LaVert expiring facilitates Mobley max next season. CLE deep roster now a bonafide playoff threat with now supporting cast on 2yr contracts down from Garland's 4-year to help keep core intact (nearterm tweakability). Should keep Cavs competitive for years to come.

UTA gets floor general Garland as value back for JClarkson/JCollins (slim trade market) and reality check on KGeorge starter readiness (can play some combo-guard and backup pg). Strus hard-nosed wing Ainge likes. Wade another floor spacer behind Markaanen. Forgot to add 2-3 SRPs from Cleveland (I see G…

GSW: Poeltl has just the right amount/combo of size, mobility, rolling/cutting (smart interior spacing on offense), finishing (stable push shot and crafty short drives/layups with either hand), passing, and rebounding ability as to take HUGE pressure off Draymond and TJD … was not feasible Wiggins/Draymond/Kuminga always trying to plug that rebounding gap (TJD needs to come off the bench). Improved roster depth/balance definitely allows Draymond/Steph to play more selectively regular season conserve energy for playoff run. Win-now trade worth FRP.

Steph/Melton/Podz Podz/Melton/Hield/Moody Wiggins/Kuminga/KAnderson Draymond/Kuminga/KAnderson Poeltl/TJD/Draymond

TOR: Looney buffer at 5 (TOR already signed hometown Olynyk and also just signed Bruno Fernando 7'4" wingspan). PaytonJr point-of-attack perimeter defender TOR needs. Both contracts expiring to help absorb SBarnes impending max along with BBrown $22mm expiring. Well positioned two FRP 2025 draft.

Win/win trade.

Thought a…

LAC: gets JCollins while he can be got for win-now trade not breaking the bank (worth giVing up late 2025 FRP A as OKC can swap), allows Kawhi to split more time at 3/4 and gives Zubac help on the boards. Swaps out Powell/Bones/TMann offense for cheaper Clarkson/CThomas, as DJJ/KDunn defense makes TMann expendable. Happy to get off PJ's contract. Playoff roster.

UTA: cements the tank with Simmons and picks up a 2025 FRP in the process. Powell deep threat (upgrade over Clarkson who's time ran out) and high-character player franchise values. Losing Sexton hurts but cost of doing business rebuild, as two 2025 FRP and massive cap space next year for FA hunting.

BKN: gets potential long-term fits Sexton (dawg), TMann (from BKN), and Bones at low cost (1 FRP) to secure Ainge's tank. Moving off DFS/CJohnson will in-turn further secure their own tank. PJ $10mm and Schroeder $13mm expiring provides cap flex next season….

UTA: moves JCollins with Markaanen signing, and also willing to let go of Sexton to get off Clarkson's contract as to usher in the future with long-term prospect higher upside Herro (can get lower-pressure reps in this year to further develop), bonafide deep perimeter threat DRobinson, Hightower cheap serviceable backup 3/4 quality perimeter shooting threat, KLove plays crucial backup 4/5 minutes. Utah gets picks and

MIA: gets a dawg in Sexton to pair with Rozier and vetted 6th man bench scoring Clarkson (solidifies rotational expectations), and JCollins (Jovic is high-value tradebait for future picks) to start at 4, all of which can play 30+ min/game and also align with Butler 2-year timeline. JCollins huge to take some interior pressure off Bam. Jacquez/Jovic have made DRobinson expendable. Also these players are proven durable (Herro been hurt) for the championship run….
