BOS/HOU --- Boston is Jaylen's town

($$ works with JSJ $10mm salary bump next year)

BOS: wakes up to the fact that Tatum only ever been fair-weather Boston-lover (including repping Udoka over Mazulla as coach), makes this undeniably JBrown's team. Team gets younger ... JSJ's length, Sengun increased offensive production at 5, and FVF stability/consistency should keep them in the fold. Allows for increased minutes for outperformers Pritchard/ Scheierman/HGonzales. Look for a stealth UFA signing (or sign-trade) of Porzingis who prefers East Coast. FVF expiring allows further financial flex after next season. Mazulla better coaching fit (less caustic) for youngins JSJ/Sengun. JBrown so damn strong can manufacture a shot in almost any situation, showed increased efficiency balancing with playmaking/passing a.k.a. ceiling still has tangible room for growth and is a bonafide leader ... can you say the same about Tatum?

HOU: swings for fences in Tatum/DBrown to salvage Durant experiment (all 3 USA Olympic teammates) ... Tatum more consistent rebounder/scorer/facilitator/closer over JSJ, DBrown elite all-stats glue-guy pg, and add in LGarza stretch-5 effect. With SAdams returning full strength, this team has personnel/grit to legit compete in the West, scrapping the clunky Sengun/Durant-centric offensive dynamic for a heavier 3-ball threat w/ Tatum/Durant interchangeable at 3/4 keeping a 25-30ppg perimeter threat on the floor at all times (consistently exploit matchups for offensive efficiency).
