- The Los Angeles Lakers have been attached to Buddy Hield and Kyrie Irving in trade rumors for a long time. These two would create the perfect floor-spacing backcourt to complement LeBron James and Anthony Davis in a much-improved Western Conference.

- The Brooklyn Nets save money now, as well as in upcoming seasons by using Kyrie Irving to get out from under Joe Harris' contract AND receive a future first-round pick. This gives them more cap flexibility should something come up in the next few years.
