The Blazers FRP is lottery protected until 2028

For the Pelicans they desperately need a center and Vucevic may be a good answer here. He is on a relatively good contract and spaces the floor well for them. Lonzo is someone they can definitely take a chance on as someone who can be an amazing piece if he can stay healthy. If not then he is just an expiring contract of $20M. Tossing in a FRP for BI is probably the best offer the Pelicans are going to get at this point. Because of the new CBA rule and having a limit on how much you can spend- will team really want to pay BI almost a 3rd of what they’re allowed to spend next year? Definitely not. Getting some good piece which can really help your team in the meantime should be what the Pels are looking for. Pels Lineup: Dejounte, CJ, Herb, Zion, Vucevic Lonzo, Hawkins, Trey, Theis, Missi

The Bulls are FINALLY rebuilding and at this point it seems like they’re just trying to sell their assets. Lonzo only has value as an expiring contract and Vuc just isn’t what they need anymore. They have began to surround this team with playmakers like White, Giddey, and Buzelis so going after a shot maker should be a priority. Even though Ingram is 26 and is about to turn 27- they can get him at a cheap price and maybe he really excels as the #1 option and becomes worth $40-$50M a year next off season. The Bulls are just able to sell some of their old assets here and get a real good player in return which should be their priority. Bulls Lineup: White, LaVine, Ingram, Buzelis, Smith Giddey, Ayo, Williams, Phillips, Sanogo
