Trailblazers - The longer Grant stays on Portland’s roster, the more his value decreases. He’s clearly not a part of the future there so frankly I’m surprised he’s lasted this long there. Here they move him to a win now team in Miami and get back a nice prospect in Jovic, plus a second rounder and Terry. Terry can be flipped for more assets to another contending team. This is probably the best they can get for Grant at this point.

Heat - Miami is still in win now mode with two all star caliber players in Bam and Herro on the roster. Grant adds scoring to this team and is still a highly serviceable starter. This plus maybe another move could send Miami back into contention in the East especially with Tatum injured for Boston. Jovic is a loss but he can be replaced by Grant.
