ROUGH DRAFT FOR THIS TRADE, WILL TAKE ANY AND EVERY CRITIQUE
Jazz: Everyone knows the problem with the Jazz is the perimeter defense. I agree, but I would argue that a problem that is almost as great, if not as great, is the age. This whole team is getting up there in years, and they need to actively fight that. So, they lose some scoring in Bojan and a great leader in Ingles, along with draft compensation, but they get some grit on the perimeter without losing much shooting. Juancho is most likely being bought out.
Projected lineup: Conley, Mitchell, Dillon, Royce, Gobert, with Gay, KCP, and Clarkson are manning the bench
Grizzlies: They need to consolidate some of their assets. In this trade, they get an immediate win now player, who is a great veteran presence and absolute culture setter, along with draft picks that can and should be used to consolidate assets. The Grizzlies are almost suffering from too much depth, and getting rid of Brooks, who would be in line for a big pay day in a couple years, seems like the way to go.
Projected lineup: Morant, Bane, Bojan, Kyle, JJJ, with Clarke, Melton, Zaire, and Adams manning the bench
Wizards: The wizards are a team with no purpose. They don't have a direction and most importantly they don't have a culture. KCP wasn't gonna be the one to solve that issue. So, they pick up one of the best veterans in the business, who is also an immediate talent upgrade over KCP. He is on an expiring deal, but the Wizards shouldn't be locked into ANYONE right now, they need the most flexibility possible.
Projected lineup: Dinwiddie, Beal, Ingles, Hachimura, Gafford, with Avdija, Neto, Bertans, and Kuzma manning the bench
