Jae Crowder has been the subject of trade talks ever since he made it known that he does not want to be in Phoenix anymore. He has not yet been traded though. That ought to change soon. With Cameron Johnsons recent injury, there is now more pressure on the Suns to trade Crowder. What is the market for him though? He is a solid role player, but not one worthy of receiving a return of both players and picks. The most I can reasonably see Phoenix getting in a Crowder trade is another role player. That isn’t a bad thing though, as there are several good role players that may be available on the trade market. Grayson Allen is one of those players. There are reports that Milwaukee is shopping Allen right now. He is a good player and Milwuakee appreciates his 3-point shooting ability, but it is clear that Milwaukee would rather go in a different direction right now. Maybe in the direction of Jae Crowder. He is a perfect fit in their system and would have a good impact off of the bench. For Phoenix, Grayson Allen would help improve their depth at the guard spots and make up for some of the lost 3-point shooting in Cameron Johnson’s absence. I’m a fan of this trade for both teams. I believe it’s a win-win scenario. What do you think?
