Pelicans : A-

Honestly, this is a pretty random deal for both teams but I guess it benefits them both and doesn’t really hurt either team. Pelicans get much younger by adding Poole and Bey, plus the 40th pick in this year’s draft. Poole gives New Orleans a younger option to takeover lead guard while Murray recovers from his injury, and gives them a less injury prone player. Bey slides in as a younger backup wing and the 40th pick can be used for depth in a very deep 2025 draft class. Overall, a good trade for New Orleans.

Wizards : B

This trade is just kinda there for Washington in my opinion. It’s probably good that they freed up loads of cap space for the 2026-2027 offseason but they probably could’ve gotten more for Poole and their second rounder. It’s fine though as Poole has no future in Washington so I can’t complain about this.
