HAPPENED 10 MINS AGO, here's my trade grading:

Heat: A-

It is a great great fit for the Heat, reasonable win now move, beside guys like Bam and Jimmy, combo guards like Rozier is like the ideal PGs to go for. He also is having a great great year, definitely will be a huge impact for the Heat

I do have a slight doubt that it is an overpay, due to the big contract he's on. frp is needed for this trade, but i will hope to see some protections on the pick, maybe a top 5 protected and this trade will be very gd, for now we have no info i believe

Hornets: A+

FINALLY TERRY IS TRADED, JUST FINALLY

it is a very gd move, especially when they got expiring back and a whole frp, perfect value for them

Guys like NSJ should now get even more chance to play, or maybe Bryce McGowens and even Amari Bailey. There is quite a few guys who should get more mins from this trade of Rozier. For a selling or rebuilding team, doing this asap is always the smartest move

Rozier is clearly not a gd fit beside LaMelo, maybe we will see an even scarier LaMelo? idk, but Rozier will definitely not be in the future plans, and gd to trade him away at basically his maximum value

Another reason that Hornets finally are willing to trade Rozier is they need to open up cap space for the offseason. Correct me if im wrong, I dont think they have Miles Bridges birdright as he was dropped for a year and signed back, birdright doesnt apply on him and Hornets will need to sign him back as a form of UFA if they want to, therefore they need that cap space, to be ready to face bids from other teams, in order to keep Bridges in Charlotte
