The Lakers are exploring many deals. What was reported frequently is DLo, 2029 frp and a swap for Dejounte, and Hawks are actively trying to find a 3rd team for DLo if they do such deal.

Well i rlly dont think that it will be a gd trade for the Lakers personally. Dejounte Murray is no doubt a gd fit on the Lakers squad, especially his defense will rlly help out Reaves. But first, there's 8 teams being more threatening than the Lakers, is it rlly a gd timing for the Lakers to give up their final frp? Ik that LeBron = all in, but even when LeBron is here, imo u still need to consider future. Now isnt a gd window for them to make a move that uses up another frp

Second, DLo isnt even having a bad year. Yes he isnt like a gd defender which is ofc a big reason Lakers wanna do the trade, but look at DLO, 16/3/6 on 48/41/78 splits in 30 mins. Look, 41% from 3, it's rlly not bad at all. Ik that he doesnt rlly show up in the playoffs in previous appearances but u just have to hope he does when he played well in regular season.

Same goes with a lot of other Lakers players, Rui, another one of the bigger contracts in LA, statistically he might not be gd as last season, but according to +/-, he is one of the highest in the squad, which reflects that he isnt playing bad, and imo probably wont be traded as well. and ofc, even when Reaves isnt as gd statistically, and have one of the worse +/-, but u just know Lakers not trading him

For Gabe Vincent, I dont think Lakers will move him, cus he is a gd fit beside LeBron, and also that he havent even proved anything with the limited games he's played in due to injury. Teams probably wont trade a guy immediately after just few games available

Therefore there's just not rlly any piece that should be traded on the Lakers currently imo, it's tough to make a big move for them

While they clearly need upgrades on the roster, I think 1 minor move might alrdy can make a slight improvement. It just feels like everyone only thinks that Lakers need another star to contend or make some noise, the sharpshooting need just seems disappeared. Where's all the Buddy Hield rumours? just seems all gone rn

Yes Buddy is just an example and probably is out of reach for LA now with not a big contract to trade, but Cedi Osman, a cheaper sharpshooting option, who fits the Lakers with the quick sharpshooting he provides, and the experience he has (as LeBron's teammate before), he seems like a great target for the Lakers to go at

Cam Reddish and Jaxson Hayes might not be a gd enough playoff rotational piece, trading them for a experienced vet alongside a srp is a right move for me, instead of going for bigger trades in at a bad timing. Spurs probably can use both of these younger guys. With them putting Osman on trade block, this deal seems reasonable for both these teams
