The Lakers currently don't have a center after missing out on Capela, Lopez, and others. They could potentially get Ayton, but that's not a guarantee. They could go for an obvious trade candidate in Claxton. The Nets are in rebuild mode and getting Knecht and a potential lottery pick is really useful. They drafted too many point guards and passers, so getting someone who can finish those passes is a necessity. Vincent and Kleber are both sizable expiring deals and wont help the nets win games. they can be good mentors for the young players. The Lakers get a starting center who is a good lob threat for Luka, can protect the rim, and rebound.
