The Wizards have been terrible the past few years. They have had multiple 10+ games where they haven't won. They recently brought in some veterans to help them win more and to teach the young guys good habits. In this trade, they bring in a guy who, when healthy, can win them a few games.

The Wizards have a lot of young guys who need somebody to teach them good skills and habits. Dwight Powell has been in the league for over a decade and has picked up some good habits himself. He can teach them a lot of good thing to help them become more mature when it comes to navigating the life of an NBA player. But Zion is the meat-and-potatoes of this trade. He gives them an electric scorer who can score almost at will. He gives you a slasher who can rebound, pass, and throw down lobs. He could infuse Washington Wizards' fan base with some energy and some hope.

The Pelicans get some good players who are more healthy than Zion is. Holmes can be their starting center until Missi develops more. Br…

The Mavs are in disarray. They traded their franchise player for a 30 year old who is often injured. And they only got one first. ONE!! They have also been ravaged by injuries. Kyrie is out until at least January of 2026, and AD isn't exactly durable. So they need to sell off all their pieces

The Thunder are really good now. But if they don't get the chip this year, they may want to consider a big swing. They get Anthony Davis in this trade. He is, when healthy, a very good rebounder, scorer, and defender. They do give up a few good pieces in Hartinstein and Joe, but AD is a really good player. If they don't overload him with heavy minutes and keep him healthy, he can give them a different element on offence. And maybe more importantly, when Shai sits, AD can run the offence with J Dub. He can make them somebody nobody wants to face in the postseason, which the Thunder don't have the luxury of having now. Cam can add to their depth and tradable pieces when he can be traded. (Just kidd…

In this trade, Young asks out after multiple years of little to no playoff success. This trade works because the Magic and the Hawks pick up the team options on Bufkin and Howard.

The Hawks get a good return for Young. Issac can be a good defensive stopper for them. Anthony can fill into the starting PG spot. Howard can get more opportunity in Atlanta than he did with the Magic. With the players coming in from the trade, and what they already have, the Hawks can put together a pesky defense that can give opposing teams trouble. The denver pick is going to be in the mid to high twenties. The magic first will be in the low to mid twenties. The second will be in the high twenties.

The Magic get some MUCH needed offense. Trae can get the offense set up, take some pressure of Paolo and Franz, and provide some shooting. The magic defense can hide him, and he has Suggs next to him as a point-of-attack defender. They add Ryan, who is a career 40 percent 3-point shooter, and can come off the …

The thunder get Cam Johnson, who is having a career year shooting the ball. Clowney will help with their front court size and rebounding. He can play the backup 4 or backup center if Isaiah or Chet get injured again. The nets get their two first for Cam and then some for picks for Clowney. Dieng can be an interesting prospect and Williams can be bought out if need be. Joe could stay for the long term, as he is 25, or he can be flipped this off-season for a pick and prospect….

The Lakers get more size in the frontcourt. Nance can stretch the floor and be a veteran on an expiring deal. Krejci can be a good guard off the bench who is shooting 37% from three. The hawks get a good guard to come off the bench or start. The wizards help facilitate this deal and get a second rounder for their troubles….

The magic buy low on Bogdon, as he isn't shooting as well from three this year. They do give up a improving player in Anthony, but the magic need shooting. The hawks get a good creator to come off the bench and create shots for other. They also get an interesting prospect that could be a good addition….

The mavericks just traded for Anthony Davis, leaving and over abundance at center, and a lack of depth at guard. In this trade they get a secondary ball handler and more forward depth. They also get a bunch of expiring contracts to help resign Kyrie this offseason. The bulls can either buyout Powell and Exum or let exum expire and waive Powell. The Rockets get a good backup center. Steven Adams is still only half a year out of a long recovery and is getting older. Gafford provides shot blocking, rebounding, and interior finishing….

The lakers just got Luka Doncic, and he will be their cornerstone for the foreseeable future. So the lakers should start building around Luka. In this trade, they get shooters and they solve the center issue. Luka is best when he has players who can knock down threes and space the floor. The lakers currently don’t have a starting caliber center and they get good depth at that position in this trade. The hawks need some secondary playmaking after Jalen Johnson was injured. Austin Reaves has made a playmaking leap this year and will help the hawks in that area. The kings get a wing for an inconsistent shooter. The Knicks get a lot more depth for Mitchell Robinson. They give up Precious Achiuwa, but they also get the lakers’ 31 first, although it isn’t as valuable now. The Pistons help facilitate the deal and get two seconds for their trouble. Look for the next section for what the mavs should do next….

The lakers get two really good pieces who can come in and contribute on a nightly basis. Kessler can start at center of come off the bench. Sexton can fill in the playmaking gap D'lo left behind. The jazz get a valuable lakers first, and the protection removed on the '27 first. They would have to stomach half a year of JHS and another year of Rui, but it would be worth it…

The rockets get a back center behind Sengun. Even though they have Steven Adams, he is older and only half a year out from a sprained PCL (don't ask me what that means) Smith can also play PF if his three point shot is falling. The bulls get a veteran center and draft capital…

The spurs get a great player to play with Wemby. Zach can play either on-ball or off-ball, which will help his slashing to the rim. Wemby has so much attention on him that Zach could live off back door cuts or running off screens. The bulls get a young player in Johnson and a valuable veteran in Barnes….

The clippers get someone who can play good center minutes. The clippers need another center behind Zubac because mo bamba and Kai jones aren’t cutting it. The suns move off of nurkic and get a young player. Even though Williams is terrible right now, he might need a change of scenery. The bulls get someone who can either start or come off the bench if Vuc is or isn’t traded. they also get a first for taking on nurkic…

The pistons get a good backup point guard behind Cade. Lonzo is a great connecter who has a good IQ for the game. He can take some of the ball handling duties so Cade can get more rest and try to lessen his turnovers. The bulls get an expiring deal and two second, which is what they could expect in a lonzo deal…
