In this trade, Young asks out after multiple years of little to no playoff success. This trade works because the Magic and the Hawks pick up the team options on Bufkin and Howard.
The Hawks get a good return for Young. Issac can be a good defensive stopper for them. Anthony can fill into the starting PG spot. Howard can get more opportunity in Atlanta than he did with the Magic. With the players coming in from the trade, and what they already have, the Hawks can put together a pesky defense that can give opposing teams trouble. The denver pick is going to be in the mid to high twenties. The magic first will be in the low to mid twenties. The second will be in the high twenties.
The Magic get some MUCH needed offense. Trae can get the offense set up, take some pressure of Paolo and Franz, and provide some shooting. The magic defense can hide him, and he has Suggs next to him as a point-of-attack defender. They add Ryan, who is a career 40 percent 3-point shooter, and can come off the bench
The bulls help facilitate the trade and get a second that will convey. Bufkin can be a good defender if he stays healthy and gets more chance to develop. THT is waived to sign with a contender (I would like the Knicks)
Feel free to give me feedback. I think this trade works out will for all sides, but I am open to other ideas.
