Dallas:
they reportedly are searching for a FRP in return for Gafford which they’d get in this case
taking Roziers and Thiernos contracts for Klay and Gafford frees up about ~ 37 mil over the next two seasons
Thierno is an interesting prospect to get on top of an unprecedented FRP
Dallas would be two trades away (Kyrie + AD) from completely resetting the franchise
Lakers:
Bron/Luka/AR have looked horrible together spanning over the last 30 or so games and Lakers should fully move forward without Bron
Lakers clean up key weaknesses of their roster with this trade and position themselves to structure their roster similar to Dallas in 2024 —> They get a lot of value out of Brons expiring contract
They should have a lot of flexibility in the next offseason too with all their expiring contracts to add onto their core
Starters Luka - AR - Wiggins - Rui/Jovic - Ayton Vincent/Smart - Klay - Rui/Jovic - Gafford
Heat
Miami are exceeding expectations right now and with the Cavs and Knicks having their own problems all of the sudden the east looks pretty open
Bron would get back to being a more focal point of the offense with a roster and competent coaching staff around him that fit his needs this late into his career
Brons contract is huge but it’s also the best possible buy low they could get since they only really lose Wiggins from their core who Bron more than compensates for —> with Bron and Powells contracts expiring after the season and Miami not giving up any valueable prospects and assets Miami stays in pole position to to land a superstar via FA/trade next offseason
Starters: Mitchell - Herro - Bron - Bam - Ware Jaku - Powell - Jaime - Fonteccio - Kleber/trade
