Toronto
This definitely isn’t the move I expected Toronto to make, but I really like it regardless. Kelly Olynyk is going to be a great addition to the roster. He is a veteran role player who is going to bring more size, IQ, and offense to this team. He also is on an expiring contract and can potentially be resigned on a smaller contract, which gives Toronto more flexibility to resign guys like Immanuel Quickley and Gary Trent Jr. Ochai Agbaji is another good addition and a great fit on the roster. He is still relatively young, and he is a solid 3 and D player who will fit easily into the lineup. It did cost Toronto a first round pick to get these two players, but it is likely going to be one of the last couple of picks in the first round, and Toronto didn’t give up any rotation players. It’s a huge win for Toronto in my book.

Utah Jazz
I think this is a solid deal for the Jazz. They manage to get a first round pick for a guy they probably wouldn’t resign and a guard that doesn’t have much of a place in the rotation anymore. They maintain some cap flexibility next offseason by getting two expiring as well. I’m a little bit surprised that this was the best they could do for Kelly Olynyk, but at the end of the day this was probably around where his trade value was at. Solid move for them overall!
