Warriors seems to do everything to use Curry’s prime which is 3-4years left at maximum to get 1-2 more rings. Jazz and Blazers prepare their future with young talents.

I traded Malcom Brogdon to Warriors for Chris Paul, but put Scoot Henderson to show Lauri Markkenen on thumbnail. So please look at this trade with Malcom instead of Scoot.

Why Warriors would do this

This trade will make sense assuming Klay Thompson will sign below 3Y -75 million extension as Lauri will be signed around 35million x 4Y contract. If Klay wants more money, warriors should let him go. Lauri could give you offense, size and put you in win now mode keeping Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski as a future. Malcom Brogdon will be efficient scoring 6th man who runs 2nd unit. For Robert William III, although he is injury prone, after he gets recovered next season from surgery, i think he will be able to thrive in rotation with Kevon Looney as starting center probably aiming to play around 60 regular season games(25-28minutes), and focus in playoff while Looney playing every single game. And the 2nd unit looks great.

Why Jazz would do this

Jazz gets a good replacement of Lauri, Andrew Wiggins who is signed under very economic contract. He also has potential to score 20pts+ per game with defense if he becomes first option. Jazz also gets warriors’ future assets, Moses moody, Trayce Jackson Davis, and 2 first round picks to prepare their future. Warriors like Kuminga too much to give up. I thought OKC might have a better packages of young players for Lauri, but since Josh Giddey is becoming meme now, i believe Warriors might have a good chance with this trade package. If you think TDJ’s great, you could probably just throw one more first round picks instead of him.

Why Blazers would do this

With Chris Paul and Kelly Olynyk, Blazers will get more experienced as they will get better 2nd unit than now who could help young players to thrive, and Chris Paul could sometimes start helping their young first unit to get their things together while Scoot Henderson develops with time. Chris Paul also could be traded or sign Vet Minimum after his current contract expires which is economic option.

This is the best trade packages that i could come up with now for Warriors, but also considering other teams situation. I’m open to all the feedbacks so please let me know what could possibly be changed to make this trade more attractive for 3 teams.
