Magic - Despite the fact that the Magic have 4 decent PGs, 3 of them are injured. Fultz for the season, MCW for the season and Suggs for at least another few months. They get a Maledon, who is unproven but still has solid potential and can play minutes for them and give up Wagner who takes minutes away from Bamba, WCJ and Isaac.

Thunder- OKC just have too many young guards, it’s not feasible for the Thunder to keep all of them on the team. They get a solid, relatively young big in Wagner in return for who I think would probably be the last PG in their rotation - Theo Maledon. Though Wagner isn’t the Center of the future for them he could be a solid backup for years to come. He does need to improve his defense and rebounding but a 6 11 big who can shoot at a decent clip will always be valuable.
