Should raptors take a swing on harden? This situation will work a lot better for harden and propel the raptors to a top 6 spot in the east (imo). I personally like the fit of harden surrounded by strong defensive players. The raptors will gain 2 2nd round picks and 35 million dollars in cap space if it didn't work. This gives them the ability to retain og and siakam and sign top free agents. La could add plumlee/theis as well.

They give away 2 expiring contracts in young and porter who have almost no value. This trade really depends on how much the raptors value poeltl.

On the clippers side they get a better fit offensively. They get an upgrade over zu (imo, although I don't watch poeltl consistently) . They still get 2 expiring contracts giving them room to resign guys in the summer.
