Trade: Obi, Mitch. Fournier(1 year salary filler) and an unprotected 1st rounder for Porzingis. Knicks slot in a 5 that can stretch the floor and play interior defense. Wizards look to most likely reset as Kuzma looking for a bigger contract elsewhere, now would be the time to sell high on their current stars and start a fresh rebuild.
Free Agency: I take a bet on Oladipo even after his injury on a minimum low risk-high reward kinda deal, I replace Obi with a stretch 4 and rebounder in Dario Saric who's had a great rep around the league as a solid bench player so two solid deals for good role players.
I know this isn't a massive splash for most of us Knicks fans would love but I feel like Porzingis is a guy who is familiar with NY, really embraced being here before he was traded. While also being affordable to where we don't mortgage our whole future for a star or at least not until the right one comes around. I really love the outlook of this team plus we still have room to make another move if we wanted too with a ton of picks and young players still available to be moved.

Let me know what you guys think! Definitely not a huge splash of an offseason for the Knicks but I like this new Dynamic and think it would open up so much and addresses one of the knicks main issues in shooting by getting 2 bigs that can stretch the floor as well as Oladipo who is decent enough as a shooter to where he can make plays off the bench. Thank you!
